When Wen Anmei, a deputy to the Guizhou Provincial People’s Congress, Representative Inheritor of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Amei Qituo, stated at the“Deputies’Passage” of the fourth session of the 14th Guizhou Provincial People’s Congress in 2026: "only when the roots of ICH take hold in the hearts of the younger generation can it truly live on," she was outlining a vision that extends far beyond the future of her home county.

今年1月，外籍留学生走进阿妹戚托小镇，感受当地少数民族文化。
当一项非遗能够在其“原乡”中凝聚深厚的社区认同、创造出真实可感的社会经济价值，它便已悄然获得了与更广阔世界对话的资本。这种源自“原乡”的自信与魅力，或许是非遗走向世界最坚实、也最动人的路径。
When an ICH can foster deep community identity within its homeland and create tangible socio-economic value, it has acquired the capital to engage in dialogue with the wider world. This confidence and charm, born from the homeland, is perhaps the most solid path for intangible cultural heritage to step onto the global stage.
